This is the official website for the preparatory study on Complex Set-top Boxes, i.e. Lot 18. The study is being carried out for The European Commission (DG TREN) in the context of the Framework Directive on ecodesign of Energy using Products (EuP).

September 17, 2008 – Task 6 (Technical Analysis BAT) Draft Report is available in the Documents section. Kindly send us your comments and opinion by 30th September 2008.

August 08, 2008 – Task 4 (Technical Analysis of Existing Products) and Task 5 (Definition of Base Case) Draft Reports are available in the Documents section. Kindly send us your comments and opinion by 25th August  2008.

July 21, 2008 – Task 3 (Consumer behaviour) Draft Report is available in the Documents section. Kindly send us your comments and opinion by 11 August  2008.

June 26, 2008 - Second Industry Questionnaire covering the assessment of the improvement potential of complex set-top boxes is available for download in the Documents section. This questionnaire was dispatched directly to the registered industrial stakeholders. If you would like to provide us relevant data, please reply to this questionnaire at the earliest possible; not later than 4 August  2008

May 7, 2008 – Task 2 (Market Analysis) Draft Report is available in the Documents section. Kindly send us your comments and opinion by 7 June 2008.

January 22, 2008 – First Industry Questionnaire covering market data (Task 2) and consumer behaviour (Task 3) is available for download in the Documents section. This questionnaire was dispatched directly to the registered industrial stakeholders. If you would like to provide us relevant data, please reply to this questionnaire at the earliest possible; not later than 11 February 2008.
